Ever watched a sci-flick and thought what it would be like to live in a world where you can teleport from one spot to another? Well, keep wondering, because that’s basically impossible to achieve.

But fear not. Just because that form of transport isn’t achievable it doesn’t mean there aren’t alternative methods being devised to deal with our ever-growing need to travel further, faster and more efficiently.

RS Online have theorized on just what the future has in store for us when it comes to travel advancements. By entering your age into their incredible infographic, you can get a snapshot of what the coming years hold for you.

For example, did you know by 2025 there’s expected to be a “SkyTran” system in place, which sees people travelling at speeds of up to 150mph. What makes this more incredible is the fact that this will supposedly be achieved with the relatively measly amount of power it takes to keep two hairdryers working.

Things are only set to become crazier after that, with all of the following set to be introduced in the next century:

  • 90% of cars being electric (2035)
  • Panoramic planes (2050)
  • An elevator that travels 60,000 miles into the sky
