Keyboard With A Built-in Fingerprint Scanner

Microsoft unveiled a new keyboard with a built-in fingerprint scanner, that is hidden under one of its buttons. One key is housing a fingerprint scanner that can be used to unlock a computer. The idea is that pressing it like any other key will quickly log a user into their computer through Windows Hello, without the hassle of remembering and typing in a password.

The Modern Keyboard is thin and can be plugged into a device or connected wirelessly via Bluetooth. In its wireless mode battery lasts up to four months, and can be used up to 5 m away from the computer. Unfortunately it’s only compatible with Windows 10, so users other OS or older versions of Windows miss out. Check it out in the video below.
