A new solution for national-scale biometric identification projects is capable of matching 1.2 billion fingerprints per second, 1.2 billion faces per second or 700 million irises per second on a single server.
MegaMatcher Accelerator Extreme edition is intended for large-scale biometric identification projects with tens or hundreds of millions of people enrolled in the database. The possible applications include national-scale projects like border control, various passport or ID issuing systems, voter registration, as well as online banking, government e-services and other mass scale systems.
The solution from Neurotechnology provides high recognition accuracy and is designed to run on an off-the-shelf server hardware with dual Intel Xeon processors, 512 Gb of RAM and four NVIDIA TITAN GPU’s. Multiple servers can be connected together into a cluster for higher performance and availability. Each server can store up to 160 million fingerprints, up to 40 million faces and up to 200 million irises.
Three biometric recognition engines are offered: fingerprint, face and iris. Each of them can be used separately, or they can be combined together for even higher accuracy.

MegaMatcher Accelerator is also offered in Development Edition, Standard and Extended editions, which provide fast and accurate biometric identification for smaller projects.
