Wynd is a portable air purifier with the size of a water bottle, so you can take it with you wherever you go. The purification system monitors the air for particulates and cleans the air around you. It filtrates allergens, germs, and industrial pollution. It’s an air quality tracker and purifier in one, the tracker can be detached for ultimate mobility.
It weighs only 270 grams and is 7cm in diameter. The battery lasts for 8 hours of typical use and it can deliver over 8 liters of clean air per second.
The Wynd Air Quality Tracker continuously monitors your environment and alerts you when it becomes unhealthy. The tracker senses for the level of particulate pollution, from sources such as allergens, tobacco smoke, bacteria, mold spores, and smog. It contains a medical-grade air filter, capable of purifying particles as small as 0.3um (1 / 210th the average thickness of human hair). Its purification level is gradually adjustable from 0 to 100, giving you the most comfortable setting.
The project is currently on Kickstarter, where it’s raised more than $226,000 with 29 days remaining. Price is $149 and estimated shipping is on November this year.
