LG’s MiniBeam PF1000U, is a projector that uses a Short Distance Focus technique to project a large screen from a very short distance. It means no more extra space on your wall or your room being occupied by massive screens that effectively displace whole square meters of room area. Via specially placed mirrors, it projects a very good quality image in as small place as possible. The minimum necessary distance from the projector to the screen is about 38 cm, a tenth of existing projectors.
The device can play audio and video also via USB cable or home network, and play media from your mobile devices. It has its own speakers, but you can connect any external speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth.
The screen features a full HD resolution and brightness up to 1,000 lumens while the contrast ratio of 150,000:1 which keeps the picture quality the same even at the largest screen size.
The projector’s LED will work for about 30,000 hours lifespan and customers could get it for €1,299 in October.
