Convert Your Bike Into An E-bike

Posted August 18, 2015

go-e ONwheel kit can make your normal bike into an electric bike. The motor is water resistant and weights 850 grams and has a power of 800 watts. You can mount and demount the motor from your bike in five seconds. The motor only engages when you are pedalling, otherwise it does not touch your wheel.

The motor is set to 250W and a maximal speed of 25 km/h in order to meet EU-regulations. The maximal setting is 800W and 45 km/h. It is in your responsibility to set the maximal limits in the app according to local speed and power limits.

The app is currently only available for Android, it will be available for iOS and Windows Phone too. Via bluetooth you can view the actual speed, power in watt, battery charge level and estimated remaining distance.

All screws of the motor are made of stainless steel and all cables and electronics are sealed to make it totally waterproof.

The project campaign is fully funded on the Kickstarter and reached its funding goal of €50.000, the early bird pricing are gone, but you can still get it for €499, an estimated delivery is on November of 2015.
