Portable Solar System

Posted July 20, 2015

PowerTAB is a small portable solar system which can efficiently recharge all mobile devices. The 5W solar panel charges through a highly efficient power management consisting of two cells that together provide 6000mAh storage volume.

A converter provides 2,4 Ampere output current on the USB. This is enough to recharge big-size tablets quickly. A LED status display shows when to recharge the batteries. There are also two 1W lights at the back of the PowerTAB that can be used for reading at night.

With 5W panel it takes less than 100 minutes in direct sunlight to charge your smartphone. You can charge smart-watches and other wearables in less than 30 minutes.

The project campaign is on the Kickstarter and reached its funding goal of $10.000. The early bird pricing are gone, but you can still pick it up for $49. An estimated delivery is on September of 2015.
