Color e-paper smartwatch with up to 7 days of battery

Posted February 25, 2015

Pebble Time is a color e-paper smartwatch which runs for an entire week on a single charge and is slimmer more than a millimeter compared to its previous model. It also has an integrated microphone so that you can speak commands to the just like Microsoft Band and Android Wear. Also it is a water resistant, so you can swim or surf with it. The lens is crafted from scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass with a bezel made of stainless steel.

Notifications, news, reminders and events are laid out chronologically instead of being trapped inside separate apps.

Pebble Time also has a smart accessory port, enabling hardware developers to build sensors and smart straps that connect directly to the watch.

It works with all Android 4.0+ phones including Samsung, HTC, Sony, LG, Google, Motorola, Xiaomi and also with all iOS 8 including iPhone 4s and above.

Pebble Time had already secured more than $10,000,000 in pledges on the KickStarter. Single watches are still available at the $179 and estimated delivery date is May of 2015.
