Turn Your Smartphone Into A Polaroid

Posted January 27, 2015

The Prynt case lets you print photos from your smartphone. Plug it in your smartphone, snap a picture, and get it printed. The case suits for iPhone and Android phones. The part of the case that contains the dock can be changed based on the phone model, if you upgrade or change smartphone, you don’t need a whole new Prynt Case, just order a new dock adapter.

The case holds 10 sheets of paper, and refills will be available through the app.

Each print-out could be a video. While you’re posing for a photo, the app records a short video and stores it in the cloud. When you hold your phone over the printed image, our app will automatically scan and recognize it, showing your movie on screen in augmented reality.

The Prynt app is under development and will be released this summer. The device is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter, early backers can get it for $49.
