A robot that can be programmed to copy individual handwriting

Posted January 19, 2015

A technology platform Bond transcribes the message using a handwriting robot. Unlike a traditional printer, the robot physically moves a pen back-and-forth to mimic personalized script.

Bond traditionally works with corporate clients and large event hosts, who need to send personalized messages in large volumes.

Their robot technology offers several professional lettering styles and can be programmed to copy individual handwriting. Though the process may be seen as depersonalizing written communication, Bond aims to revive an art form threatened by consumer emphasis on efficiency.
