The 3Doodler pen allows users to draw in the air and see their creations realised physically as plastic 3D structures. The 2.0 version of the pen has arrived and debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It is 75% smaller than the first generation model and half the weight.
The pen uses plastic filament as its ink, which is heated and rapidly cools. It requires just a power source.
The 2.0 pen’s Kickstarter campaign has already smashed the goal of $30,000.
