Dell launches four new devices in India hence expanding its tablet offering in the market. Among the four new tablets launched are, Venue 7 and Venue 8 run on Android operating system, while Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro run on Windows 8.1 operating system. Venue 7 tablet has been priced at Rs 10,999, while Dell Venue 8 will be available for Rs 17,499. The Venue 8 Pro tablet has been priced at Rs 26,499. The company has not announced the pricing for the Venue 11 Pro.
Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8 Android-based tablets are both powered by up to 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 and Z2580 processors and 2GB RAM. Venue 7 sports a 7-inch display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution, while the Venue 8 sports an 8-inch display with the same resolution. The two tablets run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Both of the tablets feature front and rear cameras and will be available in two variants. The company has launched Wi-fi version of the tablet. Venue 7 sports a 3MP rear camera and a VGA front camera, while the Venue 8 features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP camera in front.
Venue 7 comes with 16GB internal storage while Venue 8 comes with the option of 16 or 32GB storage. Both tablets come with a micro-SD card slot. The other two new Dell tablets run Windows 8.1. The Venue 8 Pro is powered by up to 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3740D quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. It sports a 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front facing camera. The Venue 11 Pro comes with fourth-generation Intel Core i3 and i5 processors and up to 4GB RAM. The tablet sports a FHD 10.8-inch display. It sports an 8MP rear and 2MP front facing camera.
